Same same, but, different..
Another drift event at Grange. You'd think with the same recipe you'd get the same dish. Same dish will taste the same right? Wrong! There's something about the events that Mikey hosts. I'm not sure if it's the cars that come out or the people that are staffing, or just Mikey's presence at all.
This fellow is here is Mikey from JimmyUp. The dude himself. Now, I've never hosted an event, and i'm not sure if any of you have but i'd imagine it's much like hosting a party and having too many people show up. Then those people start crashing their cars into shit and everyone tracks dirt into your rug. My point being thathomie is wearing a smile still. Did I mention that his coupe sustained damage and his transmission went out that day? This attitude transcends into the event itself.
Attitude is one thing, but aptitude is another. Another thing the day wasn't short of. The driver level was great. Made for good photos and entertaining spectating.
This event cost $40 for a full day. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better managed event for that price let alone with as much run time. I wasn't able to drive this event but I plan on driving the next one. Thank you Mikey and thank you Andy from Andy's Tires.
